Registration open for Dec. 6 chess tournaments at Diamondhead

District 191 Community Education will host its annual One91 student chess tournament Saturday, Dec. 6 at Diamondhead Education Center. All K-12 students in the district are eligible to participate. 

The Burnsville Club and Action tournament will run in conjunction with the One91 student tournament and is open to the public. 

Online registration for both tournaments is $25 until Dec. 3. On-site registration is $40 and will be open from 8-8:30 a.m. the morning of the tournament. Cash or check payments are preferred.

Concessions are available. Players are encouraged to bring their own chess clock and writing utensil.
