BrainPower in a BackPack is a weekend food pack that provides four meals and assorted snacks for students. In-school distribution is available to all One91 students; sign up is required and food is distributed once a week via student backpack.

Students can sign-up online at BrainPower in a BackPack 191 Student Sign Up or email brainpower191@gmail.com. They can also sign up via the school main office, school social worker or student's primary teacher in preschool or elementary or their Advisory teacher in middle and high school.

The 191 Community Pantry is available year-round. Recipients receive a grocery bag of non-perishable items (8 meals) and a small box of assorted produce.

The Pantry runs the first and third Tuesdays of each month, from 2 pm until food runs out, which is often by 3:30 pm. Food is available to the public. 

Pantry pick-up is located at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Pkwy in Burnsville (Door 9 - Pleasant Avenue Entrance).

Community Pantry at school sites: School Year Only (September - May)

Edward Neill Elementary, 13409 Upton Avenue S, Burnsville 

3rd Wednesday of each month from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Drive-through, pick up distribution is focused on Neill families and neighborhood, but food distribution is open to the public. Food is free and usually includes both dry goods and fresh produce, as well as dairy and meat when available.  

The 191 Community Pantry Fresh Produce distribution runs July-October. Bulk produce distribution runs the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month (July-Oct. only) from 2 pm or until food runs out, often by 3:30 pm.  Food is available to the public.

Fare for All is a program of the food group. It is Open to all.

Fare for All is a great way to save money on high-quality foods.  It is a community-supported, affordable grocery program. Fare for All purchases fresh fruit, veggies, and frozen meat in bulk to save you 30-40 % off grocery store prices. They select the best food and pre-package it to bring you the best deals. Like a co-op, the more people who shop, the better the value becomes for everyone.
