General Pool Policies

There are no make-ups sessions for those who are unable to attend any regularly-scheduled classes. If a lesson is canceled due to pool closure or severe weather, we attempt to provide make-up lessons whenever possible.
Swimwear/Locker Room Policy

Swimwear consisting of spandex, polyester and /or Lycra fabric is required while in the pool. Jeans, cotton clothing, and anything not designed for water sports are not permitted.

Children over the age of 5 are not allowed in opposite gender locker rooms. Speak with the pool coordinator if this poses a problem for your family. Women escorting boys under the age of five enter through the women's locker room. Men escorting girls under the age of five enter through the men's locker room.

We attempt to keep the pools at or near 84°. If the pool temperature drops below 80°, participants will be sent home.

Nicollet Middle School

Pool depth ranges from 3 to 5 feet. No diving permitted.

Pool Contamination

The pool will be closed for treatment when fecal matter is observed or suspected in the pool. Children under 3 years old or participants experiencing habitual accidents are required to wear a waterproof swim diaper covered by a swimsuit, as required by the Dept of Health. Failure to comply with this will result in prohibition from using the pool.
